Hooray! Our second study guide, Clot or Bleed: A Painless Guide for People Who Hate Coag, is now available on Amazon’s Kindle store and on iBooks.Â
This is pretty cool because it adds an extra level of functionality to the book. The Table of Contents is linked directly to each chapter, and there’s an index, and it all looks so nice on both platforms. I like the way you can change the font, and the font size, and add bookmarks too.
Surprisingly, you don’t need to have a Kindle to read Kindle books now – you can download a Kindle app for your computer, iPhone, Android device, whatever. Which is good news, because Kindle versions of books are generally a lot cheaper than hard copies (plus you get them delivered immediately). You can either download a sample chapter, or you can just flip through the book online. Nice.
For the iBooks version, you need to have an iPhone or an iPad. It looks (and works) great on both. My students love it because it’s quick to flip through, and they always have it with them (as anyone with an iPhone knows, you never go anywhere without it). You can download a sample chapter on iBooks too. Even if you don’t want to purchase the book, you might want to get the sample chapter, because it’s a nice introduction to coag (if I do say so myself).
Of course, Clot or Bleed is still available as an immediate-download pdf ebook as well.
Check it out, and let me know what you think. (And if you like it, please consider spreading the love and giving it a good rating!)
