I’m happy to announce a new book in our Study Guide family: Anatomic Pathology Student Compendium. This book is a collection of all of Pathology Student’s best and most popular posts on anatomic pathology topics. I created it in response to requests I had to make a separate ebook containing Pathology Student posts. I took all of the essays on organ systems pathology and organized them by organ and subtopic, re-edited the text and added some new photos. It’s all redesigned and put into a package that’s easy to read and accessible anywhere.
The book is basically a really sweet re-design of the anatomic portion of Pathology Student, and I want to be clear about that. But although you could search for and organize most of this information yourself, I think the ebook is valuable for a number of reasons.
- It’s convenient. No surfing, or digging through archives, or copying and pasting stuff into a word document.
- It’s portable. You can take it with you and read it anywhere – on the bus, in the car, waiting in line – with no need to find wifi access.
- It’s readable. It’s easier and quicker to read articles in a book-style format than it is in a website-style format. And it looks just as good printed out as it does on the screen.
- It’s nicely designed. The essays have been redesigned and curated in a simple, clean, uncluttered format that’s easy on the eyes.
Anatomic Pathology Compendium contains 63 student-question-centered essays on difficult pathology topics in the following organ systems:
- Cardiac pathology
- Endocrine pathology
- Female reproductive pathology
- Gastrointestinal pathology
- Hepatobiliary pathology
- Male reproductive pathology
- Nervous system pathology
- Pulmonary pathology
- Renal pathology
- Skin pathology
Drop me a note and let me know what you think. I hope you find it convenient and useful!
